On the heels of the Wantagh United Teachers endorsement of Laura Reich and Jen Perfetti, other organizations are starting to back candidates for the upcoming Wantagh BOE. The latest endorsements come from a trio of organizations including Mom’s for Liberty Nassau/Suffolk, SOS (Save our Schools) and Board of Education PATRIOT TAKEOVER. The groups are endorsing Jennifer S. and Jessica Elmazi for the Wantagh School Board of Education.
These groups list the following as their platform:
- Parental Rights
- Transparency & Accountability
- Fiscally Responsible Budgets
- Advocates for Local Control
- Safe Learning Environments
The Wantagh Board of Education election takes place on May 17th, 2022.
